Sonata Bathétique in C- A performance where text was read by artist Conal McStravick, draped in fabric, standing behind a translucent screen that featured a human-sized print of the statue Circassian Slave by Raffaele Monti. The text was delivered as though spoken by the statue.
His/her speech was periodically interrupted by excerpts of music, which alternate between Ludwig Van Beethoven’s “Piano Sonata no.8 in C- Pathétique” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Piano Sonata no. 14 in Ck457

Full Disclosure A collaborative online performance with Jaakko Pallasvuo that was then turned into a publication and exhibition, including a book fair in collaboration with Motto Books.
I created a video where I claimed Jaakko was an invented persona and that I was responsible for all of his artistic output. The video was uploaded on Youtube on July 29th, and we both embedded the video on our personal websites. The identical pages existed in tandem until August 23, 2012.

The performance uses tarot reading techniques, Facebook and a text-generation bot programmed by researcher Cody Walker.
The bot is a neural network that has been fed esoteric texts, Walter Benjamin, Bataille, Hildegaard von Bingen and contemporary feminist poetry. When given key text from a tarot reading, it will generate a fortune for the querent.

A writing workshop and publication made for the exhibition What Thinks Me. The content was taken from the Futurist opera of the same name, with text by Mayakovsky and sets by painter Kazimir Malevich. A lecture was given by art historian Amelia Groom.
My Mother Was An Animal Until I Grew My Second Set Of Teeth
A performative workshop in conversation with Marie-Michelle Deschamps. Based on research inspired by the schizophrenic writer Louis Wolfson. Selected participants performed a writing exercise in a trance-like state while, unbeknownst to them, a secondary group of participants, both present in the gallery and in remote locations, attempted to influence their writings through guided meditation.
